Planning audit (optional)If you pay a College Station Utilities bill in your name, the residential LED credit ($2 per lamp, $20/year cap) can apply even in a rental. BTU SmartHOME does not. Ask the landlord before you change fixtures.
CSU conservation pageIn Bryan and College Station the electric account is often in the tenant's name. Shop the apartment's shade, top-floor heat, and whether the landlord will allow solar screens — those beat any 'energy package' marketing in a listing.
